So I spent the afternoon helping my friend Sandy move. We spent some time soaking in her jacuzzi after, until some rude-ass smokers decided to make an appearance ( Read more... )

Instead, I taught myself how to do boomstick lace (easier than I thought, though it took me a couple of false starts) and did the test for the 100 push-ups challenge (zero good-form, but eight girly).

So now I'm going to take a shower and caffeinate myself before heading over to the one-stop center to see if I can haz job.

I don't know why I woke up, only 2 hours after I went to bed, and couldn't go back to sleep. So I thought.

And I realized why I'm having so much trouble with City of Sun and Darkness. The structure is completely weird. Though it has the snarky vampire-slaying heroine, it's not really part of the modern "Urban Fantasy" subgenre. It's multi-POV ( Read more... )
